Los Campos farm is located in the Los Santos region, more specifically in Tablon del Guarco. Region is recognized for high altitudes. I was not huge fan of Costarican coffee honestly, but when i tried this coffee in Ljubljana coffee festival few weeks ago i really loved it. This Red Catuai lot is a very processed lot with a lot of fermenty, ripe fruit notes. Innovative fermentation process gives coffee a funky, sweet and balanced flavour. If you are into funky coffee, you will definitely love this coffee.
Fermentation process:
1. fruit picking
2. fermenting cherries at 40-45 Celsius
3. Exposure of the heat starts to breakdonw the natural sugars in coffee cherries
4. Sun dried for 30 days 5.
