This coffee was grown by Jairo Arcila at the farm Santa Monica in Colombia.
This variety originated in Ethiopia and it is a natural mutation of Typica. The seeds were taken to Indonesia where it was named Java. In 2010, made its way to Colombia. 
Java cherries are fermented for 40hours in anaerobic environment and afterwards coffee is sundried until ideal moisture is achieved.
Coffee with a lot of fruity notes, yellow fruits and stone fruits. Acidity is not so intense and aftertaste very very pleasant.
